Position:  Condon Early Learning Center Financial Manager

Part Time:  25 hours a week

Condon ELC is looking for a candidate who is energetic, self-motivated and able to work with little supervision to generate funding and manage the finances of the early learning center. Funding for the Center comes from tuition, grant writing, fund raising, contracts with early education entities and currently, a yearly subsidy from Gilliam County.

Qualifications:

The Financial Manager will be thoroughly committed to Condon Early Learning Center's mission. The selected candidate should have leadership and business management experience. Integrity, a positive attitude, and being mission driven and self-directed are musts for this position.

Other Qualifications include:

• Passing a background check
• Managing a budget to include payroll and associated taxes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Action oriented, entrepreneurial and adaptable to business planning
• Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people

Financial Manager Responsibilities:

• Grant writing
• Leading fundraising efforts
• Preparing monthly financial statements for the Board of Directors
• Preparing payroll and associated taxes and annual W2s.
• Preparing monthly billing
• Managing accounts payables and receivables
